Collaborative Interaction has evolved into creating a more effective learning experience by allowing students to work and learn from people over great distances. Students from different parts of the country from different cultures with different belief systems are able to collaborate with each other to solve problems and get ideas on various topics in their subject area. Collaborative Interaction has evolved to extend just beyond students sitting in a classroom watching a screen with a professor lecturing in a classroom in a distant location to students working in an on-line classroom where they are conducting discussion forums and working in groups to solve problems and complete assignments.
Internet blogs and various other on-line discussion forums are available today to facilitate these interactions among learners. Also on-line Unversities such as Walden University have set-up on-line degree programs with discussion forums and on-line tasks to help facilitate learning.
